Senior member of Jemaah Islamiyah (QDe.092) involved in planning and funding multiple terrorist attacks in the Philippines and Indonesia. Provided training to Abu Sayyaf Group (QDe.001). Convicted for his role in the 2002 Bali bombings and sentenced to 20 years in prison in Jun. 2012. Remains in custody in Indonesia as at May 2015. Review pursuant to Security Council resolution 2368 (2017) was concluded on 15 November 2021.
